Copenhagen Zoo

Both children and adults can enjoy a visit to Copenhagen Zoo and the animals wonderful world.

Animals from around the world - all year round
Here in the large garden the whole family can explore and come close to giraffes and elephants, walk around the rainforest in The Tropical Zoo area, play with the animals in the petting zoo and much more. Copenhagen Zoo has that something special every day, all year round!

A New elephant experiment
Copenhagen Zoo has in recent years worked at getting new and better facilities for animals like elephants, hippos and polar bears. Copenhagen Zoo's new elephant house is designed by the renowned British architect Norman Foster. Two large glass domes let in plenty of light into the elephants' stables and here you also find an elephant laboratory where children and adults can explore the elephant's exciting world. Every day you can walk around the garden and experience feeding and training of the animals in the Zoo. At zoo.dk you can check the program for the day you are visiting Copenhagen Zoo.
