1847 and beyond…
It all began in the mid1800s where the old Brewhouse was founded. The visit takes you through the historic brewery as well as fascinating tales of how Carlsberg successfully went from being a local brewery to a global power-brand. Here you can also marvel at the world’s largest collection of unopened beer bottles sourced from all over the globe. See the original delivery vans on display in the exhibition. Beauty and authenticity far outweigh their lack of size.
Try the beer
Drinking a beer is not as easy as you might imagine. Challenge your brain and sharpen your senses in the aroma room. Your ticket also includes one draft beers or soft drink, which you can enjoy in the beautiful Jacobsen Brewhouse & Bar or in the Brand Store & Beer Experience.

Beer, Art, and Architecture

Keep your eyes open for some of these hidden gems as you stroll round the area.
Lunch at the brewery
